I really hate my phone company (specifically for Internet)

Okay, here's the whole story...
My mom and I moved into a new place six month ago [actually it'll be six months on December 25th ] and we were having problems with our phone [every time we picked it up, it was dead] so we got a technician to come out and fix our phones and set up the Internet, which he had the original services transferred from one address to another (we had unlimited bandwidth with our Internet connection and, since we were "grandfathered" into the deal, we still had it, even after they'd gotten rid of it).
But after we were having problems with our phones, we called them and let them know that there were services on our phone we didn't want. We'd told them that we didn't want any of that; later we find out that they'd gotten rid of our services...both phone and Internet, so we lost the "Unlimited Downloads" feature.
We'd signed up with a different service, giving us 170 gigabytes per month (50 gigabytes standard plus 120 extra for $15/month), but I was looking for a way to upgrade the number to something larger, so we called the phone company again.
They'd told us that they could give us 75 gigabytes extra for only ten dollars more a month, so we'd done that.
I checked my account at the site and it said that the usage in my account is 75 gigabytes standard plus 40 gigabytes extra for a total of 115). The thing that gets me is they never told us that the 75 gigabytes was a new service; they lead us to believe that the 75 was in addition to the 170 we already had.
The only good news about this mistake is, with the new plan we have, it severed the yearly contract (which would've expired in June) and made it a month-to-month, so, if we wanted to end our Internet service with this company and go with another one, we wouldn't have to wait six months.
We haven't had any problems with our phone lately; the Internet's more the issue, but I suppose the silver lining is at least we have the Internet.
