my bouncing ab boy and I have so much fun playing outside together in the backyard, just the other day we were playing on his playset, pushing him on his swing while he giggled and babbled, telling me "higher, mama higher" so I pushed him higher and he giggled some more, then I helped him slow down the swing so that I could help him get off and guide him over to the sandbox that was hiding underneath the playhouse up top. he asked to go over to it because he wanted to play in the sand, once he was in the sandbox his diaper got all sandy and he grabbed a plastic red shovel and started to dig a small hole, then put a plastic crab mold for building in the sand into the small hole before he went to bury it, shrf...shrf...shrf... until the sand burried it underneath a small hill of sand.
he did that and he was proud of it. so proud he even knocked it over and all I could do was sit next to the sandbox, in the grass and watch him bury this little crab mold in sand and then press the sand back down, then he went on to bury his bare feet with sand and see how much of a mountain he could make, they were pretty big ones, or that's what I like to tell him because he gets all happy about it before wiggling his toes and having the sand start falling down the sides like little rocks. he was having fun and he liked it when i watched him, at one point I even joined in and grabbed the pale and gathering sand in it till it was full, then putting it over the sand to make a small castle and he looked at so curiously. I loved every moment of that playtime together and can't wait for what we'll do next
